Q. Soft Counter
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8200 Series machines use soft counters to
track their functional copy use. The control panel displays up to six counters
on the Counter Status Check screen (when the Counter Check key on the
control panel is pressed). By default, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8200
Series machines display 4 out of 6 counters on the Counter Status Check
screen.
The table below indicates the default counter configurations of the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8200 Series machines displayed on the Counter
Status Check screen. For more information on the soft counter
configurations, see the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8205/8295/8285 Series
Service Manual
. Specifically, refer to the Service Mode section of the Service
Manual that covers the setting under COPIER > OPTION > USER.
