Preparations for Receiving a
Remote Fax
To receive a remote fax using the Remote Fax server, you must
specify the following settings for the server machine and client
machine respectively.
Server Settings
Register Destinations
[I-Fax Address]: [email protected]
Forwarding Settings
Client Settings
Communications Settings
<SMTP RX>: [On]
[E-Mail Address]: [email protected]
Press to specify a destination not stored in the Address Book.
Setting the Server Machine
You must specify the settings so that fax data received by the
server machine is forwarded to the client machine as an I-fax.
In this example, the e-mail address for the client machine is
registered as an I-fax address.
