Detecting a Jam

The machine will assume any of the following conditions to indicate the presence of a jam, and communicates the
fact to its host machine. In response, the host machine will stop copying operation and, at the same time, indicate the
presence of a jam on its control panel.

In the course of a punching session, a move from
home position to non-home position does not occur
within 200 msec. Or, an over-run condition occurs,
causing a non-home position state.

At time of power-on, the punch inlet path sensor
detects the presence of paper.
