5-8-9 13: Waste Ink Counter Level Registration
Register the waste ink counter level to succeed the ink level to the counter when replacing the
Main Board ass'y or the button-type lithium battery on the Main Board ass'y.
Waste Ink Counter Level Registration Procedure
1. Set the MFP service mode standby.
(Refer to Part1: 5-4 User Maintenance Mode )
2. Press [ Stop] key thirteen times. Select the waste ink counter clear item. Press [ON/OFF]
key.
(Refer to Part1: 5-5 How to Enter in MFP Service Mode , Part1: 5-6 Selective Function in
MFP Service Mode )
3. Select the waste ink counter amount register item according to the number of pressing [
Stop] key. Press [ON/OFF] key.
4. Select the value according to the number of pressing [ Stop] key. (10% each)
Input 0-90% according to the number of printout pages in past (criteria: 14,000=100%) if the waste
ink level is not succeeded to the waste ink counter.
