Registering coded speed dialling numbers and
names
Use coded speed dialling to dial a fax number at the press of three buttons. A fax/telephone number can be registered
under each two-digit speed dialling code. You can also register the name of the party and a voice tag; the name
appears on the printout of the coded speed dialling list.

To delete the name and number registered under the coded speed dialling code, press [Clear] and [Start/Copy] after you perform
steps 1 to 4 above.

Register the party’s voice tag for UCanTalk (see p. 21).
When the fax asks you if you want to register the voice tag, press
or [#] to select YES or NO.

• If you selected NO in step 6, proceed to step 8.
• If you selected YES in step 6:
After the tone, speak the party’s name into the microphone.
The fax asks you to speak the party’s name again.
After the tone, speak into the microphone again.

To assign additional one-touch speed dialling numbers, start from step 3.
To finish, press [Stop].
If voice tag registration fails three consecutive times, registration will end. If this happens, start again from step 1.

] to select the two-digit code (01-70) under which you want to register the
number.
If a number is already registered under this coded speed dialling code, the number is displayed on the LCD.*

Enter the party’s number and name the same way you registered them for one-touch speed
dialling.

Register the party’s voice tag the same way you registered it for one-touch speed dialling (see
above).
