Shooting Movies

Still photo shooting is not possible in movie shooting mode.

shoot still photos, turn the Mode Dial to change the shooting mode.

Still Photo Shooting

A movie file is recorded each time you shoot a movie (p.90).



The movie image’s field of view is approx. 100% (with movie recording
size set to [



Monaural sound is recorded by the camera’s built-in microphone (p.84).



With a fully-charged Battery Pack LP-E10, the total movie shooting time
will be as follows: approx. 1 hr. 30 min. at room temperature (23°C/73°F),
and approx. 1 hr. 25 min. at low temperatures (0°C/32°F).



During movie shooting, focus preset for (super) telephoto lenses cannot
be used.
