Playing Movies
Index display
Press the <
u
> button and turn the

> dial counterclockwise to
display the index.
In the index display, perforations at
the left edge of a thumbnail indicate a
movie.
As movies cannot be played
on the index display, press <

to switch to the single-image
display.

In the single-image display, press

The movie playback panel will appear
at the bottom of the screen.

Play back the movie.
Turn the <

The movie will start playing.
You can pause the movie playback by

volume.

image playback and return to
shooting-ready state.
Speaker
When you edit out the first scene or last scene of a movie file which is one of
multiple 4 GB movie files created by one successive shooting (
z
p.268)
and overwrite it, information for combining the files may be lost. In such a
case, you may not be able to combine the file with other files into a single
movie file and save it, using software such as EOS MOVIE Utility (p.94).
