B. Initial Checks
1. Installation environment

Refer to the printer's installation environment.

2. Envelope checks

a. The recommended envelopes for the envelope feeder are used.
b. The envelopes are not damp.

3. Condensation

During winter, particularly when moving the envelope feeder into a warm room from a cold loca-
tion such as a warehouse, various problems can occur due to condensation in the envelope feed-
er.

If condensation appears, either wipe the parts with dry cloth, or leave the envelope feeder ON

for 10 to 20 minutes.
