Remove the jammed paper.

1. If the paper is jammed at the pickup area: Pull the paper forward and clear

the jam from the maintenance cover.

2. If the paper is jammed at any other area: Pull the paper forward and clear

the jam from the nearest opening.

Gently close the reading unit until it clicks into place.
