CAUTION
Do not put your hand into the area where stapling is performed, as this may
result in personal injury.
IMPORTANT
•
The printer can staple up to 15 sheets of paper of the same size (up to 10 sheets for
paper of 21.7 to 27.9 lb Bond (81.5 to 105 g/m
2
)).
•
When stapling is performed, do not touch the paper until it is output to the output tray
completely. All the printed paper is first output partially to be stapled, then it is output
completely.
•
If you are using LBP5975 connected to a computer with a USB cable, be sure to perform
the following procedure after installing the printer driver. If not, you cannot use the
stapling function.

Printing Speed on Stapling
In the following circumstances, printing speed may drop to prevent printed paper from
being misaligned.
(22 pages/min for 1-sided printing (Letter); 4 pages/min for 2-sided printing (Letter))
•
If diagrams, photographs, or others for which a layer is specified are in the area of 1.97
in. (5 cm) or less from the rear edge of the paper (toward the feeding direction)
Example:
•
If diagrams, photographs, or others for which a layer is specified are on surfaces overlie
each other (ex: on page 2 and page 3) on 2-sided printing
