General Information
The battery supplies power and data
connection to other attached
SmartSense components via the
extension cables.
The battery must be fully charged and
installed into the SmartSense cradle or
rail frame mount in order for
SmartSense system components to
operate.

The battery is a sealed unit and
cannot be serviced.
Replace the battery if it fails to
charge normally, damaged or
otherwise faulty

and Service Life
The duration the battery is able to supply
to the system attached SmartSense
components depends power demands of
lighting and other connected components.
• Bright lights, not flashing, flashing
quickly - need more energy, battery
life shorter, less operating time.
• Light less bright, and flashing slowly.
This will use the battery less and
result in longer operating time.
The battery service-life is limited. Overall
lifespan will be affected by the number of
charge and discharge cycles and
environmental factors.
