Gain Calibration
The CANBERRA
i
SERIES is shipped from the factory with the system gain
calibration having been performed. The gain is set at the factory using an Am-241
radioactive standard source physically identical to the AM50MM available from
Mirion Technologies (Canberra). The AM50MM is an electroplated standard with a 50
mm active diameter as shown in Figure 7.
