1. Remove rear body module, refer
to
ACCESSING MAINTENANCE
COMPONENTS
.
2. On LH side, remove side panel.
3. Remove the hose clamps.
4. Remove the retaining screws.
5. Remove the pre-filter assembly.

6. Install a new pre-filter assembly.
TIGHTENING TORQUE

2.5 N•m ± 0.5 N•m
(22 lbf• in ± 4 lbf• in )
7. Secure hoses with clamps.
8. Install rear body module and tighten
all screws to specifications.

Engine Oil Level Verification
NOTICE
Operating the engine
with an improper level may severely
damage engine.
NOTICE
Check oil level when en-
gine is cold.
1. Place vehicle on a level surface.
2. Clean around dipstick to avoid for-
eign particles falling down the tube.
3. Unscrew dipstick then remove it
and wipe clean.

1. Engine oil dipstick
4. Reinstall dipstick, screw in it com-
pletely.
5. Remove dipstick and check oil level.
It should be near or equal to the up-
per mark.
