Poor connection
– Verify if there are loose connections both at the solenoid location and at the
winch itself.
– Check for broken wires.
– Check for corrosion.
Defective winch remote button.
– Contact an authorized Can-Am Off-road dealer to have switch replaced.
Contact breakers have tripped
– Allow several minutes to cool down before trying again.
Freespool is engaged
– Make sure to engage the brake so that the winch motor is coupled to the
drum.

Weak battery
– Check fault message in cluster.
– Check battery connections and terminals condition.
– Have the battery checked by an authorized Can-Am Off-road dealer.
Motor is damaged
– Have the winch replaced.

Winch was used for a long period.
– Allow motor and circuit breakers to cool down.
Motor is damaged
– Have the winch replaced.

Load is above capacity
– Reduce load as much as possible.
– Use a block to double the line with a pulley block.
