µm. Therefore, if site restrictions dictate that an installation angle of greater than 45° is required,
the Wintersense SDI-12 sensor will be less prone to errors from reflected radiation than other
non-invasive sensors without these optical filters.
To adjust the sensor angle, slightly loosen both bolts in the bracket to allow rotation of the sensor
around the bolt that is fitted in the round hole towards the front of the sensor. Once at the
correct angle, tighten the bolts by hand until the spring washers are fully compressed.
Adjust the angle of the hood so it is between 30 and 60 ° from vertical. See the following figure.

8. Maintenance
CAUTION:
Before proceeding with any maintenance, always retrieve the data first.
CAUTION:
Always disconnect the Wintersense SDI-12 from the data logger or the connector before
disassembling.
