FT-292 Wychwood Fountain

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Assemble your fountain on a level surface capable of holding a minimum of 45 pounds with an
approximate 1 square foot footprint.

1.
Place the adhesive dots provided evenly around the bottom of the basin
(FT-292C) to prevent scratching anything beneath the fountain.
2.
Position the basin (FT-292C) where the fountain is to be installed,
ensuring that it will be level.
3.
Assemble the pump kit.
a.
NOTE: Be sure to use the appropriate size
adapter provided with the pump and do not plug
the pump into the transformer until assembly is
complete.
b.
Using a hose clamp and screwdriver, attach the 1/2”
end of the non-kink tubing to the pump outlet.
c.
Place one end of the PermaGum putty onto the pump
cord approximately about 6”-8” from the pump.
d.
Wrap the putty around the cord once. See image
“A”
e.
Place the stopper around the putty. Keep the top edge
of the putty and stopper flush. See image
“B”
f.
Cut off the excess putty so that it is even with the
outer edge of the slit.
4.
Feed the pump cord all the way through the hole and the channel in the
basin (FT-292C) to ensure the fountain will be level.
5.
Firmly press the stopper into the hole while pulling the cord the
remainder of the way.
a.
Use the handle of the screwdriver to press the
stopper down as far as possible. See image
“C”
6.
Fill the basin enough to cover the pump completely with
water to check for leaking.
a.
If leaking occurs…
i.
Remove the stopper and repeat step 5 again.
ii.
Use some of the excess putty to seal the cord around the
top of the stopper. See image
“D”
iii.
Let the fountain dry completely, then
use 100% clear silicone to seal around
the pump cord and perimeter of the
stopper.

Silicone must set for 24 hours
before adding water
7.
Place the pump house (FT-292B) over the pump and centered inside of
the large bowl (FT-292C).
8.
Using a hose clamp and screwdriver, secure the other end of the 1/2”
non-kink tubing to the copper pipe protruding from the bottom of the
small bowl (FT-292A).
9.
Center and lower the small bowl (FT-292A) onto the pump house (FT-
292B)
10.
Connect the pump cord to the transformer.
