Solar Charging (option)
The solar charging option allows you to connect
up to
a 120 watt solar
panel to recharge the battery on your trailer. Sizing the solar panel is
important to ensure you have enough capacity for your intended usage.
Trailer DC Usage Examples
(when not plugged into shore power)

The Camp-Inn solar option has a 10 amp, built-in solar controller and a
circuit that bypasses the controller. You may use a solar panel with its
own solar controller or a solar panel without controller. Follow the chart
below to wire your solar panel to the Male Solar Connector (provided).
The outer cover of the Male Connector is flexible and must be pried off
to make wiring connections.
These connections should be made by
someone with the proper electrical training.

The Female Solar Connector is
located on the exterior right (curb)
side of the trailer, near the rear. To
mate connectors, align the arrows
on the Male and Female connectors
before pushing in. The male
connector may be turned clockwise
to lock the connectors together.
