IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC of 12 July 1999 on 
the limitation of exposure of the general public, the antenna used for this transmitter must be 
installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be 
colocated or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Intended use of the equipment: Digital video and audio transmission system

This equipment may be operated in EU.

Restrictions of use:

Only the frequency band within 2412 MHz - 2447 MHz (8 CHs) is available 
for outdoor use.

Outdoor use limited to 10 mW e.i.r.p. within the band 2454-2483.5 MHz. 
Military Radiolocation use. Refarming of the 2.4 GHz has been ongoing in re-
cent years to allow current relaxed regulation. Full implementation planned 
2012. 

General authorisation is required.

For private use, a general authorisation is required if WAS/RLAN’s are used 
outside own premises. For public use, a general authorisation is required

tre of Ny-Ålesund.
