Once the gland is fully hand screwed into the unit, tighten it with a spanner to
torque 10 Nm (7.4 ftlbs).

When the gland body has been fitted, tighten the gland back shell.

Do not over-tighten the gland back shell, as the internal seal and structure may
be damaged. The following example shows correctly tightened and over-
tightened gland back shells:
