DIMMABLE DESIGN
This design can run a lamp at rated power and is composed of a four-phase controller to adjust the ballast
output to 190W, 245W, 315W or Super PAR, which will increase the brightness by 15%.
Be sure to run your lamp continuously at 100% for 10 minutes before switching to other settings. Fast swit-
ching of the parameters can affect the lamp.
STAGGERED IGNITION
When used in a group, when all ballasts are connected to the same power source (power strip, timer) or all controlled
by the digital controller, all ballasts are switched on simultaneously creating a consistent inrush current and genera-
ting a violent overcurrent. To reduce this inrush current, each CALITEK ballast will light randomly separately in 3 to
10 seconds, spreading the inrush current over a larger range.
PROTECTION MECHANISM
Entry protection :
High / low voltage; radiation / inrush / pulse group; overcurrent; power outage.
Output protection :
Open circuit; short circuit; end of the life of the lamp; breakdown ignition; surge; protection against the effects
of rectification.
Overheating protection :
In operation, internal heat will dissipate through the housing. When the temperature of the box reaches 85 ° C,
the ballast will gradually reduce the power to 80%; When the case temperature reaches 90 ° C, the ballast will
stop working until it cools down to 70 ° C, then returns to the full state of the supply.
SMART START ™ IGNITION CONTROL
This revolutionary feature, unique to our products, makes the CALITEK digital ballast the safest and most re-
liable ballast when used in multi-lamp automated applications. When multiple units are connected to the same
AC circuit, our integrated ignition control software will fully balance the electrical draw by lighting one lamp
at a time to avoid electrical surges and spikes that can overload the AC power and tripping circuit breakout
