• Allow the lamp to cool for at least 20 minutes before handling.
• Do not try to open the ballast. There are no user-serviceable parts inside and opening of the ballast will void the warranty.

INSTALLATION OF THE LAMP
• Always be sure to properly install the appropriate CMH 315W lamp before connecting the luminaire to the main ballast.
• All 315Watt ceramic metal halide bulbs of the producer’s choice will be delivered with a «Bayonet type
connector». The lamp must be installed in the PGZ18 plug connector in a certain way with the contact pins (a
small size and a large size) perfectly aligning the PGZ18 female connector.
• Once your 315 watt CMH lamp is secured in the unit, NEVER change the lamp without sufficient cooling time
(manufacturer suggests: about 20 minutes until the CMH lamp is sufficiently cool for handling).
• Leave your lamp at least 20 minutes to cool before restarting (warm start)
• When you need to replace the lamp, be sure to disconnect all power sources that may be connected to your
device before handling it.
• Remove the CMH lamp by turning it counterclockwise and gently pulling on the lamp. Be extremely careful
because your lamp can still be very hot. (Always be sure to hold your lamp by its base to avoid any major /
minor burn injury.)
