SECURITY

• Read all instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
• Check that there is no damage to the product or its components before use.
• Keep this product and its components away from water and never handle with wet or damp hands.
• Never use this product outdoors.
• Keep the product away from children.
• Never use this product if there is any sign of damage to the unit or its components.
• Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
• Prevent the power cord from causing a trip hazard.

• Allow sufficient space around the ballast so that air can circulate easily around it.
• Always turn off the power before inserting the lamp into the reflector.

• Allow the lamp to cool for at least 20 minutes before handling.
• Do not try to open the ballast. There are no user-serviceable parts inside and opening of the ballast will void the warranty.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, one of these agents or any

other qualified person to avoid any risk.

• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capa-

bilities are reduced, or persons without experience or knowledge, unless they have benefited from through a

person responsible for their safety, surveillance or prior instructions regarding the use of the device. Children
should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device.

INSTALLATION OF THE LAMP

• Always be sure to properly install the appropriate CMH 315W lamp before connecting the luminaire to the main ballast.

• All 315Watt ceramic metal halide bulbs of the producer’s choice will be delivered with a «Bayonet type
connector». The lamp must be installed in the PGZ18 plug connector in a certain way with the contact pins (a
small size and a large size) perfectly aligning the PGZ18 female connector.
• Once your 315 watt CMH lamp is secured in the unit, NEVER change the lamp without sufficient cooling time
(manufacturer suggests: about 20 minutes until the CMH lamp is sufficiently cool for handling).

• Leave your lamp at least 20 minutes to cool before restarting (warm start)
• When you need to replace the lamp, be sure to disconnect all power sources that may be connected to your
device before handling it.
• Remove the CMH lamp by turning it counterclockwise and gently pulling on the lamp. Be extremely careful
because your lamp can still be very hot. (Always be sure to hold your lamp by its base to avoid any major /
minor burn injury.)
