Clean the device and the ventilation slots with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Procedures in the event of faults
The device is maintenance-free. However, if any faults do occur, please pro-
ceed according to the following table:
Fault
Action
The battery is not
being charged or a
fault indicator of
the charge control
panel is blinking.
Check all connections from the charger to the battery.
Pay attention to the correct polarity. Unplug the female
device plugs on the device and unclamp the batteries.
The device should be disconnected from all power
sources. Clamp the batteries on again and then plug in
the female device plugs. Check the fuses and the mains
connection.
The voltage of the
battery has
dropped below
1.5 volt.
Start the motor and let it run for approx. 30 seconds.
Battery voltage rises above 1.5 volt. The charging proc-
ess starts automatically.
The battery II is
not charged during
driving operation.
The starter battery does not reach 13.7 Volt.
The maximum
charging current is
not reached.
The device overheats. Ensure better ventilation of the
device.
None of the faults
described here
seems to apply.
But the device still
does not work.
