6. Preparing other beverages
Capsules may be available for preparing beverages such as tea, chamomile tea,
fi lter coff ee, etc.
For their use, proceed as directed in the previous chapter; on reaching step 5, press
“Filter coff ee”.
In order to prepare beverages using barley capsules, cocoa drinks, etc., proceed
as directed in the previous chapter; on reaching step 5, press “Espresso” or “Lungo”
depending on the desired quantities.
NOTE:
Traces of the product just dispensed may remain inside the machine.
When switching from one product to another, in order to fully enjoy the fl avor of
the beverage we suggest rinsing the machine by pressing the coff ee button as if to
dispense a coff ee without inserting a capsule.
7. Programming the quantity
of
coff ee in a cup
Warning! Before you start brewing, make sure
the used capsule bin is not full.
7.1
Raise the lever to open the capsule
compartment.
7.2
Insert the capsule, pressing it gently into
place.

Close the lever fi rmly.
7.4
Place a cup or mug under the coff ee
dispensing spout depending on the type of
coff ee you wish to program (see chapter 4).
Press the desired coff ee button
and keep it pressed down.
