chamber vacated in step4

Secure
Black (ground) wire
from installation harness to chassis
ground or simply remove radio chassis screw and secure ground wire
to radio as seen in
Fig. 6

Turn ignition key
to ACC position and turn radio “ON”
9.
Look through module USB port to verify
LED
is flashing.
If
NOT, radio is
not able to supply enough current to drive module
in which case
you must cut module red wire and connect to an alternate
Accessory (switched) power source in your vehicle
(cigar lighter,
fuse box, ignition cluster etc.)
Red accessory wire must be connected to a
switched/accessory supply source. Avoid
connecting to constant battery supply.
