REAR WINDOW REMOVAL
AND STORAGE
To remove the rear window:
1. Fold the rear seats. (See Folding the
Rear Seats.)
2. Squeeze,
pull down
and release
the latch
levers
located near
the upper
corners of
the rear window. The glass-catch
release button will prevent the rear
window from falling forward.
3. While holding
the rear window
in place, press
the glass-catch
release button
and pull the top
of the window
toward you
using the grab handles located at
the top of the window.
4. With the window tilted toward
you, use the grab handles to lift it
out from the lower frame channel.
5. Load the window into the Midgate
window storage pocket by placing
the lower edge of the window
behind the three retaining tabs.
With the grab handles facing you,
hold the window flat against the
storage pocket.
6. Turn both window lock knobs,
located at the top corners of the
storage pocket, to the locked
position. When both lock knobs are
in the locked position, the window
is securely stored.
7. Push both latch levers up to the
locked position until each clicks,
indicating they are locked correctly.
To install the rear window:
1. Squeeze, pull down and release the
latch levers.
2. Hold the rear glass against the
Midgate with one hand and turn
the glass lock knobs to the
unlocked position.
3. Pull the window out of the storage
pocket using the grab handles.
4. Tilt the glass slightly and guide the
bottom edge into the window
frame’s lower channel.
5. Apply some downward pressure
on the window to ensure the
bottom edge is properly seated in
the channel.
6. Use one hand to push the window
flat against the window frame seal
and hold it in place. Use your other
hand to
press each
latch lever
up until it
clicks,

in place.
