SAVING A PROGRAM
The SAVE PROGRAM function is divided into two modes, SAVE INTERNAL, and SAVE
CARTRIDGE. These modes are used to copy the program from the working memory to one of
the twenty-four storage locations. There are eight locations for internal program storage and
sixteen for storing to cartridge. When User Labels are used, the total number of programs
decrease by three for each program saved that contains labels. When all programs have User
Labels there are 2 locations internal and 4 locations in the cartridge. A complete Save procedure
is provided below. Once familiarized, the user may refer to Figure 7. To select and use the Save
Program function, proceed as follows:
NOTE
Turn power off (Power ON/OFF switch on rear panel)
before removing or inserting a Program Cartridge
1. Insert Enable jack in the rear panel.
2. Press the Up or Down arrow to step through the menu to display either SAVE
INTERNAL or SAVE CARTRIDGE.
3. Press MENU RUN to initiate the mode. If there is sufficient memory to save the
program, the display will show:
Are You Sure?
4. Press MENU RUN again to save the program. After the program has been saved, the
display will show:
Saved (signature #)
5. If you decide not to save the program, press RESET instead of MENU RUN.
6. If there is insufficient memory to save the program, the display will show:
MEMORY FULL
7. If the program is to be saved to cartridge, turn off power and replace the cartridge with
one that has free memory or follow the delete procedure to free-up memory and rerun the
save procedure.
