BATTERIES REPLACEMENT
Take the remote control in your hand with the keyside facing
the floor. Lift the locker and pull out the batteries. Remove
the dead batteries and replace them with new AAA batteries.
Dispose of the old batteries according to these instructions.

CLEANING ThE SPEAkERS
The CinéOle satellites and subwoofer may be cleaned with a
soft damp cloth. Do not use any sprays near the system or
allow liquids to spill into any openings. Also, do not use any
solvents, chemicals, or cleaning solutions containing alcohol,
ammonia, or abrasives.
The grill assemblies on the speakers may be carefully vacuu-
med, if necessary. Please note that the drivers are located
directly behind the grille cloth, and are easily damaged if rea-
sonable care is not taken.

TROUBLEShOOTING
If you ever have a problem with your CinéOle system, try the solutions below. If you still have a
problem, contact your Cabasse dealer to arrange for service.
Problems

The system does not
function at all
• Make sure CinéOle and the source are plugged into an opera-
ting AC wall outlet and that CinéOle is turned on AUTO.
• Ensure that the right source is selected on the amplifier (video,
CD, DVD, tuner…).
• Check that the CinéOle remote control is functional by pressing
a volume key. if no LED on the remote flashes, check the bat-
teries. If the blue LED of the IR module does not flash, check is
plugged in. The IR module must be in sight of the remote.
• Check the satellites' connections.
• Check the connections between CinéOle and the selected
source, either directly to the Santorin 21C amplifier or via the
TV set or a preamplifier.
• When using the optical input of Cinéole, check that the digital
signal coming from the source is a PCM or Dolby Digital one. If
not, select PCM or DOLBY DIGITAL in the set-up menu of the
source.
Not enough or
too much bass
• Move the subwoofer closer to a wall or a corner to increase
very low bass frequencies.
• Move it further away from a wall or a corner to decrease very
low bass frequencies.
• Adjust the LFE level control of your AV amplifier
Presence of a hum/noise when
using the RCA analog input
• One RCA input is not connected. Check the connections on
source and CinéOle sides. For a monophonic use, connect
both CinéOle RCA inputs using a "Y" adaptation cable.
