NOTE:
Dimming of the fixture will be controlled by the occupancy
sensor.
•
Upon initial power up, the sensor will turn on to 100% fixture
output and then dim to off after 20 seconds. After that, it will run
based upon the programmed time delay and dim level.
•
During standard operation, the sensor will turn on and maintain
the fixture at 100% output while motion is detected. The fixture
will then dim to the light level set by the dip switches after motion
is no longer detected and the time delay has expired. The fixture
will remain at this dim level indefinitely until motion is again
detected.
SENSOR SETTING (SEE FIGURE 7):
Detection Range-
The detection range trimpot has 3 settings
(low/medium/high)
• Low- Turn trimpot fully counterclockwise
• Medium- Turn trimpot to center position
• High- Turn trimpot fully clockwise
Time Delay-
The time delay trimpot has 3 settings ( 1min/ 5 min/
20 min)
• 1 min- Turn trimpot fully counterclockwise
• 5 min- Turn trimpot to center position
• 20 min- Turn trimpot fully clockwise
Dimming Level-
The dimming level is set using the (2) DIP
switches in the center of the sensor. There are 4 possible dim
settings ( OFF/ 10%/ 25% / 50%).
•
OFF- DIP switch 1 off, DIP switch 2 off
•
10%- DIP switch 1 off, DIP switch 2 on
•
25%- DIP switch 1 on, DIP switch 2 off
•
50%- DIP switch 1 on, DIP switch 2 on
TEST MODE:
•
Test mode is useful in programming the detection range.
Pressing the test button puts the sensor in test mode. Test mode
runs for 5 minutes and sets the time delay to 5 seconds. The red
motion LED will flash twice to indicate the sensor is in test mode.
After either 5 minutes has elapsed or the test button is pushed
again, the red motion LED will flash 3 times to indicate the sensor
is returning to normal operation based on the programmed time
delay and dim level.
