ERROR 0xA003 / 0xA006 - Stow Failed
Status Definitions:
•
AZ ST not enabling when the unit is “Stowed”.
For all Ka New Generation Platforms the PL ST should appear as STF. The mobile platform
will center on AZ enabling the AZ ST confirming the platform is in the “home” position. At which
point the antenna begins to lower on elevation until fully stowed. During this routine if the AZ
ST Switch fails to enable it will not allow the stow command to complete resulting in
ERROR:
0xA003 or 0xA006
.
These switches not getting enabled can be caused by:
•
The Controller
•
The Sensor Cable
•
The Internal Wiring Harness
•
The Switch Itself (AZ)
•
The Switch is too close to the target therefore needs to be adjusted
How to determine what component is causing the issue.
a.
We will need to move the antenna to the home position manually. Using the front panel of the
controller manually center AZ=0.0 (visually verify)
b.
From the iNetVu Mobile 7000 Controls screen, note which ST is not ON. If the PL STF is not
ON this mean the platform is improperly configured on the controller. If the AZ ST is not ON
please proceed to Step 1. If both are ON attempt to auto stow the antenna again.
The screen shot below is a normal scenario when successfully stowed:
755/985 stow position
