Starting up
Testing the drinking water hardness
Fully open the tap at the nearest cold water tap point
upstream of the water softener and run the water
for 1 minute. Use AQUATEST to test the hardness
of the water and make a note of it.
Adding regenerative
Remove the cover (2) and add max. 50 kg of
regenerative (salt tablets in accordance with
DIN EN 973 type A, e.g. Clarosal or Sanisal/Sanit-
abs) into the regenerative container (3).
Insert mains plug
Open the water supply line
The Multiblock has to be opened fully (turn adjusting
wheel all the way).
The screensaver appears.
Basic positioning starts and runs for approx.
40 seconds
Wait until the running noise stops.
The “What would you like to do?” screen
appears.
Press Start-up
(If the Start-up button is not pressed within 3
minutes, regeneration will commence auto-
matically. This will increase the start-up time by
40 minutes.
If regeneration is started, the regenerative container
must be filled with 20-25 litres of drinking water.)
