a

Then
sight

ough
the
scope
and
bring
the
cr
oss
hairs
to
the
same
point
on
the
target.
Cer
tain
mounts
hav
e
integral
windage
adjustments
and,
when
bor
e
sighting,
these
should
be
used
instead
of
the
scope
’s
internal
adjustments.
If
major
elev
ation
adjustments
ar
e needed, they should be accomplished b
y shimming the mount base.
ZEROING
Final
sighting-in
of
your
rifle
should
be
done
with
liv
e
ammunition,
based
on
your
expected
shooting
distance.
If
most
of
your
shots
will
be
at
shor
t
range,
zer
o-in
at
100
yar
ds.
B
ut,
for
long-range
shooting
at
big
game,
most
experienced
shooters
zer
o-in
about
thr
ee
inches high at 100 yar
ds.
