Burley Solo Walk ‘n Roller Instruction Guide: Models ‘04 and Beyond
When installed the hitch is re-attached by the
bolt that goes through the tongue (and hitch’s
fl exible coupling); the safety strap is anchored,
and the d-ring is on top.
Note: If using the Burley Alternative
hitch, the fl exible coupling is
attached in the same manner,
using the bolt through the tongue.
The safety strap is anchored in the
same way, to the wheel assembly
clamp bolt.
IV. Using the Walk n’ Roller Wheel
The wheel must be placed in the up position
in order to attach the trailer to a bicycle. The
conversion from “bike” (up) position, to “stroll”
position, is quick and requires no tools. First,
engage the parking brake.
To covert from “stroll” to “bike”, loosen the
Knob (#1), turning counterclockwise, until the
triangular pivot section (#2), can be rotated.
Rotate the section bringing the wheel up until
the word “bike” appears.
With the word “bike” in view, line up the
triangular sections and then tighten the knob
by hand.
Use the similar procedure for converting back to
“stroll” position.
