Deposits may enter the measuring chamber
or there may be reactions which may cause
the device to malfunction.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The alarm can
only work as well as permitted by its
installation and environment. The alarm
can indicate dangerous situations but it
cannot prevent them.
The device must not be painted, varnished or
altered in any way.

Care and maintenance
Check your smoke alarm regularly, at least
every six months!
• Keep the device clean. Remove dirt with
a brush or a slightly damp cloth.
• Test the battery and check that the alarm
can be clearly heard in all rooms.
