• Use connection method “C” for a mechanical gas connection with a ½ inch
male thread (on the appliance end) in Letonia and Luxembourg.
You can choose to use this connection method in some areas of France, Algeria,
Spain, Portugal and Italy.
• Use connection method “D” for all types of gas connection in the United Kingdom
and Ireland with a ½ inch male thread (on the appliance end).
CAUTION: Make sure that the flexible gas hose doesn't pass behind or
make contact with objects that may heat the hose up or have the potential
to cause a flame.
IMPORTANT
• The appliance should be installed, regulated and adapted to function with other
types of gas by a QUALIFIED INSTALLATION ENGINEER.
• Failure to comply with this condition will render the guarantee invalid.
• The appliance must be installed in compliance with regulations in force.
• Installation engineers must comply to current laws in force concerning ventilation
and evacuation of exhaust gases.
• Always unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance or repairs.
• Minimum distance between the appliance and combustible premises must be 20
mm.
• After the connection had been it has to be tested.
• This test can be done by applying a soapy liquid to the connection. No bubble should
appear. If there are bubbles, check the connection joint and recheck it if necessary.
• For all gas connections, make sure that the connection parts and gas delivery
components are in accordance with local and international requirements.
