Step 9:
Place a Center Support (RCP-04) on the underside of the 27-Lite Side Rails
as shown below. Then place a 3/8-16 UNC Hex head fastener with a lock washer and
flat washer into each of the four designated slots through both parts and captured on
the underside with a 3/8-16 UNC Hex nut. See Exploded View 8
for the stack up.
Only tighten fasteners finger tight for now.
Step 10:
Prior to tightening everything down, use a tape measure to square
everything up according to the vehicle. Use the 9/16” box end wrench to tighten the
fasteners to approximately 30 lb.-ft.
Step 11:
The Redi Rack is ready to have the 24” removable masts into their proper
locations as shown below.
