Password Authentication
This is used to confi gure password authentication.
A separate authentication server is required for password authentication.
---> Advanced > Authentication > Password Authentication
Parameter
Meaning
Enable Password Authentication
Enable to use password authentication.
Server Port
This sets the port number for connecting to the password
authentication page.
Login Shortcut
Click
Create
to create a shortcut of the password authentication
page.
Port number 80 cannot be set because it is already used in the web
settings.
Image
This uploads the image displayed in the password authentication
page.
The uploaded image fi le must be 125 pixels in width, 24 pixels in
height, and 64 KB in size. The supported formats are JPG, GIF, PNG,
and BMP.
The Buff alo logo is displayed when shipped, but once the logo is
changed, it cannot be restored. Images that exceed the specifi ed
value are cropped.
