1. Remove the fluid trap from its packaging.
2. Remove rear cap (side without the fluid
measurements) and place on appropriate
cap holder on top of fluid trap.

Open the 22 mm (7/8 in) port on the ViroSafe
®
filter
and insert the fluid trap, as shown, into the filter.
Make certain the fluid trap is fully seated into the filter.
CAUTION: Ensure fluid trap is fully seated into the filter prior to capturing fluid.
4. Remove the appropriate cap on the front of the fluid
trap based on the size of the tubing that will be used
in the surgical application. Store the cap on the
appropriate cap holder on top of fluid trap.
