6.2 Changing the oil filter
When the pointer on the oil filter indicator enters the red zone
clean or change the oil filter.
6.3 Cleaning
Wash the glass components with commercial detergents.
Clean the case with only a damp rag (never use organic
detergents).
Dissolve any lime deposits in the bath with a commercial
deliming agent and rinse out thoroughly.
6.4 Vacuum seal
It is not necessary to dismantle all the glassware to change
the vacuum seal.
Do not change the vacuum seal when a batch is on the unit.
This can cause contamination of the product by particles!
The vacuum seal should be cleaned according to how
intensively the unit is used, but at least once every six months.
During the run-in period of approx. 10 hours, the seal is
subject to a higher rate of abrasion. This is normal for PTFE
seals
Cleaning
To remove the seal pack you must first release and unscrew
the distribution piece. The complete seal pack can then be
taken out and cleaned. Wipe the sealing lip with a soft-dry
cloth. Clean the contact face on the vapour bushing tube.
Regular seal care will prolong its life.
