To connect dongle to another wireless network manually

Note: If your device already has built-in wireless, you may want to switch it off to
make sure you’re connecting with your new dongle.

1

  Click

in your system tray (lower-right corner of your screen) to view available

wireless connections. For the dongle connection, you might need to scroll down.
It’ll be called something like WiFi 2 or Wireless Network Connection 2.

2

Select your wireless network in the list and click Connect to continue.

3

Enter your network wireless key and click Connect to complete the connection.

Your new wi-fi base station and your existing wireless broadband router will show up
as two separate networks. If your device shows both networks, it’s worth giving both
wi-fi networks a go as one might be faster and more reliable than the other.
