IMPORTANT

The BT Diverse 6350 corded telephone is designed for making emergency telephone calls
when the power fails. However, the BT Diverse 6200 additional cordless handset will not
work in these circumstances.

This product is intended for connection to analogue public switched telephone networks
and private switchboards in the United Kingdom.

Safety information

n

Only use the power supply suitable for the BT Diverse 6350 range. Using an unauthorised
power supply will invalidate your guarantee and may damage the telephone.

n

For the handset, use only AAA Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries with
a minimum capacity of 750mAh. Never use other batteries or conventional alkaline
batteries as this could lead to a short circuit or destroy the battery casing.

n

If the keypad is locked, it is still possible to make emergency calls to 999 and
112 numbers.

n

Do not open the handset (except to replace the handset batteries). This could expose
you to high voltages or other risks.

n

Radio signals transmitted between the handset and base may cause interference to
hearing aids.

n

It is recommended that advice from a qualified expert be sought before using this
product in the vicinity of emergency/intensive care medical equipment.

n

It is recommended that if you have a pacemaker fitted you check with a medical expert
before using this product.
