light is widely used in education and industry.
The maintenance requirement is limited when using the illuminator in a decent manner.
This manual describes the construction of the illuminator, how to use it with a microscope and
maintenance of the illuminator.

3.0 How to use the LED ring light FUTURO
One should proceed as follows:
Connect the ring light to the microscope with, or without help of an adapter .
Connect the ringlight to the power supply and the power supply to the mains.
Switch on the illuminator.
Light intensity can be adjusted with the dimmer-knobs (+ and
– signs)
Segments can be turned on and off by pressing the Mode arrows

How to fix it to the microscope
The ring light is screwed to the microscopes objective cover by means of 3 set screws. Depending
on the type of microscope head the use of an adapter is necessary. The adapter should be
mounted on the microscopes head by means of allen screws first, and there after the ring light can
be fixed.
5.0 Maintenance and cleaning
Always disconnect the power cord from the mains, when the illuminator is not used for a longer
period of time. The illuminator can simply be cleaned with a soft cloth.
