Faxing from the scanner glass

You can use the scanner glass to fax pages
of a book one at a time. The document can be
up to Ledger size.
You cannot send color faxes with multiple
pages.
Note
• Since you can only scan one page at a
time, it is easier to use the ADF if you are
sending a multiple page document.
• You can send a color fax that is Letter size
or a black & white fax that is Ledger size.

Load your document face down on the
scanner glass. (See

Enter the fax number using the dial pad.
You can also enter the fax number on
the LCD by pressing
Phone Book
and
Send a fax
, or you can press a
One Touch key on the machine’s control

To fax a Legal, Ledger, A3 or A4 size
document from the scanner glass, you need
to change the
Glass ScanSize
setting.
The default setting is Letter.
