Install the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it clicks into place.

Clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the blue
tab back and forth to the right end and left ends several times. Return the tab
to the Home position before reinstalling the drum unit assembly.

Caution
Make sure that you return the tab to the Home position (

mark position)
before reinstalling the drum unit assembly into the printer, otherwise printed
pages may have vertical stripes.
The lock lever should
automatically jump to
this position.
