(7) Remove three CIS units (two bind B taptite screws, M3x8 from each CIS unit) from the CIS
frame.

Reassembling notes
•
If any one of the three CIS units is defective, replace the three-unit set with a new set.
•
When securing the CIS units to the CIS frame with screws, press each of those units and CIS
frame to each other with your fingers as shown above.
•
When reinstalling the CIS frame, first connect the three CIS harnesses to the CIS units
according to the ID color, set the CIS frame back into place, and then put three sponges into
the positions specified on the previous page to secure those harnesses.
Next, set the two positioning jigs in the direction of arrows

, with its shorter end facing
towards the CIS units. While pressing the positioning jigs in the direction of arrow
ƒ
, tighten
four screws in the order of (a), (b), (c), and (d) shown below. When removing the positioning
jigs, check again that there is no looseness.
