charGinG The backUP baTTerY
charGInG vIa compUter
Disconnect any devices currently plugged into the Backup Battery.
Ensure the Backup Battery is turned off. The blue POWER button
light should not be illuminated.
Plug one end of the USB CHARGING CABLE into the Backup Battery
and the other end into a USB port on your computer.
Power up your computer.
The CHARGING ICON will flash green during charging.
When the Backup Battery is fully charged, the CHARGING ICON will
illuminate a steady green light for 10 seconds, and then turn off.
A typical recharge of the Backup Battery will take approximately 4 hours.

Disconnect any devices currently plugged into the Backup Battery.
Ensure the Backup Battery is turned off. The blue POWER button light

Plug one end of the USB CHARGING CABLE into the Backup Battery
and the other end into the USB Port on the AC ADAPTER.
Plug the AC ADAPTER into a wall outlet.
The CHARGING ICON will flash green during charging.
When the Backup Battery is fully charged, the CHARGING ICON will
illuminate a steady green light for 10 seconds, and then turn off.
A typical recharge of the Backup Battery will take approximately 4 hours.
note: If the charGInG Icon flashes red, the input charge is incorrect.
Unplug the backup battery from the power source and use another source
with the correct input charge. this correct range is between 4.5 and 6.0 vdc.
