Safety instructions
Only an original broncolor LED F160 lamp (Power out) and an original
broncolor power supply unit (Power in) may be used.
The unit must not be thrown, dropped or exposed to mechanical stress.
The unit has to be installed in a way that no one can trip over, step on
or drive over it.
A damaged unit must not be used any longer but has to be replaced.
At high ambient temperatures, the unit has to be protected from direct
sunlight.
The unit has to be protected from rain, wetness and moisture.
Never leave the units unattended, especially if in the presence of
children!
Before using the unit, possible third-party equipment as well as cables
must be checked for damage.
Only DMX compliant 5-pin DMX cables may be used.
The proper function of the LED F160 lamp has to be checked before
connecting it to the DMX adapter box.
If the “SYS” LED is not lit in green though the supply is available and all
other connections are removed the unit has to be disconnected from the
supply and considered as damaged.
It is imperative to observe the safety instructions supplied with the
LED F160 lamp.
Product description
With the DMX adapter box you can remote control the LED F160 lamp
and integrate it within a DMX512 network.
The DMX adapter box is connected in between the LED F160 lamp and
its power supply unit and features an isolated DMX512 receiver interface
according to ANSI E1.11 (R2018). In addition, the DMX adapter box offers
remote device management (RDM) functionality according to ANSI E1.20
(2010).
