Set Up Fibre Channel, Serial Port, and Ethernet
Connections
All network cables are connected to the front panel of the SilkWorm 2100 switch. Fiber
optic cable connections use standard dual SC plug connectors; copper cables use High
speed serial Data Connection (HSSCD) connectors.
Cabling and Connectors
See Table 2-1 for recommended cabling to support the 1.0625 Gbps transfer rate of the
SilkWorm 2100 switch.
