9. Slide the new DIMM into the holder at an angle (refer to the illustration) and push the
connector end into the holder until it snaps into place.
10. Push straight down on the DIMM to lock it into place in the holder.

11. If you are also installing a CX4 10GB module, proceed to step 12 and step 13 . If you are not
installing a CX4 module, proceed to step 14 .
12. Remove the cover plate from the module slot on the front panel, as shown in Figure 43 .
1. Push memory socket tabs away from DIMM
2. Pull old DIMM up and out of holder at an angle
(see side view)
3. Slide new DIMM gently into holder at an angle
until you feel the connector end snap into place
4. Press DIMM into holder until it is flat and the tabs
on each side click into place
