Connecting Microfilters
Each analog device, such as a telephone equipment,
fax machine, or answering machine that you connect
on your DSL line requires a microfilter, as illustrated
in Figure 1-2.
1. Plug one end of a RJ-11 telephone cable into a
microfilter and connect the analog device to the
other end of this RJ-11 cable.
2. Plug the other end of this microfilter, the end that
has a RJ-11 connector, into a telephone wall
outlet.
