Once the correct option shows on the display, press the [ENTER] button to save it.
[DMX UNIVERSE]
Used to set which DMX-universe should be used while controlled via the Ethernet ports.

Press the [MODE] or
↑/↓buttons until the desired function is showing on the display.

Press the [ENTER] button: the values can be changed

Use
↑/↓ buttons to select the desired DMX-universe from 000 to 255.

Once the correct universe shows on the display, press the [ENTER] button to save it.
Remark: the 512 DMX-channels of the selected DMX-universe are directly available on the DMX-output
without any kind of configuration .
[ETHERNET PROTOCOL]
Used to select which Ethernet protocol you want to use for communication.

Press the [MODE] or
↑/↓buttons until the desired function is showing on the display.

Press the [ENTER] button: the values can be changed

Use
↑/↓ buttons to select the desired Ethernet protocol.

Once the correct option shows on the display, press the [ENTER] button to save it.
Remark: currently only the Art-Net protocol is supported. Other protocols will follow, see firmware updates.
[FIRMWARE VERSION]
Used to show the current version of the firmware.

Press the [MODE] or
↑/↓buttons until the FIRMWARE is showing on the display.
The firmware of this unit can be upgraded using a special upgrade tool with Windows® software. (separately
available from Briteq). More information about this can be found in the user manual of the upgrade tool and /
or our website: www.briteq-lighting.com
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Important: The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only,
according to the regulations for electrical and mechanical safety in your country.
STANDALONE WITH BUILT-IN CHASES:
Use this function when you want an instant show on only 1 projector.

Connect the projector to the mains and turn it on.

Select one of the following modes in the setup menu:

SOUND mode :
if you want chase programs running to the rhythm of the beat. See the section “setup
menu” for more information on the settings.

STANDALONE mode : if you want chase programs running automatically but you want a certain
control over the selected chase
. See the section “setup menu” for more information on the settings.

AUTO RUN mode : if you want chase programs runnin
g automatically. See the section “setup menu”
for more information on the settings.
STANDALONE MASTER/SLAVE WITH BUILT-IN CHASES:
Use this function when you want an instant show on only 1 projector.
By linking the units in master/slave connection, the first unit will control the other units to show a
synchronized automatic or sound activated light show.

Connect the projectors as shown in the drawing below

Setup of the master:
exactly the same procedure as the “STANDALONE” setup.

Setup of the slaves: al
l slaves should be set to “SLAVE MODE”, See the section “setup menu” for more
information on the settings.
